AAT provide an electrical and mechanical repair and maintenance service for wind turbine service lifts, electric hoists, hydraulic loaders, fall protection systems and safety equipment, either on site, in our work shop or by the product manufacturer using our network of Supply and Support Partners. At AAT we realise that the turbine hoist being out of service can be challenging operationally and may prevent turbine repairs being carried out and the turbine becoming non-productive. Our hoist repair teams carry lightweight portable hoists to leave on site so as to remove down-time and provide a temporary means of lifting tools and equipment into the nacelle when the hoist cannot be repaired on site or is to be removed from site for more in depth repairs, refurbishment or replacement. These can also be used to lift repaired or replacement hoists up to the nacelle.
Replacement hoists can be provided on a hire or sale basis and hoists can be repaired or refurbished off-site and stored by AAT on behalf of our Client as a spare for future break downs. These can be shipped to site or delivered and installed by AAT technicians.
We are also authorised by manufacturers and competent to repair and maintain a wide range of fall protection products and safety equipment either in-house in our workshop or organise this with the product manufacturer using our extensive network of Supply and Support Partners.
In addition to our repair and maintenance service we also provide LOLER and PUWER Statutory inspections, spare parts and sales and hire of the above equipment.
Our highly trained multi-disciplined technicians are competent in a wide range of service lifts and all brands of hoist found within wind turbines.
We stock and carry a wide range of spare parts allowing a fast turnaround and reduced down-time.
Motors & Brakes
Service lift motors and brakes can be provided on a hire basis to be fitted by our technicians to prevent the service lift from being removed from service.
